Rabbis for Obama

World Net Daily focused an entire article on lone female Jewish Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb, founder of the Shomer Shalom Institute for Jewish Nonviolence.

Her sins?

She called for a boycott against Israeli products, has dined with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and was the first American rabbi to visit Tehran.

The reason for the call for boycott against Israel? Not because of a hatred of Israel, but as a protest against Jewish settlements in the Muslim West Bank.

The reason for the meeting with Ahmadinejad in Tehran? Not because of a love of Holocaust denial, but for a personal request that he not speak of the Holocaust being a hoax saying, “The Torah urges direct negotiations, acts of face-to-face reconciliation as the way to peace,”

And her last sin in the eyes of WND?

She supports Obama, the so-called anti-Jewish, Israel hater, Muslim sympathizer.

But what WND should, but fails to emphasize, is the much bigger story being told here.

There was not just one Rabbi supporting Obama, but 613 Rabbis who support Obama.

I think one can get a way with calling such a Jew a self-hating Jew for her beliefs, possibly even if she is a Rabbi of the Jewish faith, but to call 613 Jewish Rabbis to be self-hating Jews supporting a Jewish hating President demands a further inquiry into what one is led to believe is the truth given to you from the Judeo-MSM.

Reform Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb is one of 613 rabbis pledging their support for Obama as part of the presidential campaign’s official “Rabbis for Obama” group unveiled earlier this week. The Obama campaign website says “Rabbis For Obama” sees the president as an “advocate for issues important to the Jewish community.”

Here is how the Jews really view Obama.

“The president’s strong support of Israel and toughest-ever actions against Iran has led rabbis from across the political spectrum to express their support for the president and have committed to seeing him re-elected,” a campaign official told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today.

If only the American Rabbis would support an American President who supported America.
