White American Inventors?

Google the words "American inventions" and you will obtain strange results. Could it be a case of "garbage in, garbage out", or is Google far more sinister?

Amazed was I to discover that the majority of American inventors were either black men or black women, even when you ask for White American inventors.

My Google list of what Google says are their top 50 "American Inventors"
(may vary from the list computed by the original story source,
but clearly black women are well represented.)
Almost as many black women as white men are in this list
