Former Orlando Sentinel columnist Charley Reese presents a compelling argument that all our problems are due to the 435 House of Representatives members, the 100 U.S. Senators, the 9 Supreme Court Justices and the 1 President, 545 in all, who are charged with representing our interests.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ.

The UGLY TRUTH is that it is us, the 300 million Americans who exercise REAL power of the federal government, who are responsible for voting these 545 into office.

I could say that in the case of every one of these scoundrels, "-WE, THE PEOPLE-" were talked into voting for them by the Pharisee and Sadducee owned media-Scribes. But again, it is still us, the voters, who have allowed ourselves to be lied to and to be hood winked. "-WE, THE PEOPLE-" believe what "-WE, THE PEOPLE-" want to believe. It is not like any of the anti-American treason, the anti-Christian blasphemy or plain old deviant and perverted corruption of our Herodian politicians is a huge dark secret. But, "-WE, THE PEOPLE-" still keep re-electing them.
