Hundreds of billions in tolls and taxes , a gargantuan tax hike TxDot --- an out of control bureaucracy Toll roads and the Trans Texas corridor are the biggest TAXING, TOLLING and SPENDING program in Texas History. I don't see how anyone who calls themselves a "conservative" could possibly support Rick Perry's toll roads which are nothing more than a gargantuan taxing plan and a plot to steal people's lands and put vast sums of money in the pocket's of Rick Perry's special interests: construction interests, law firms, investment bankers and foreign investors. I can't figure out whether Rick Perry's toll roads and the Trans Texas Corridor are 1) socialism where the government runs the economy 2) fascism where Big Business and Big Government merge to run your life or 3) Communism where the government steals your property and takes your money. Whether these toll roads (the way Rick Perry builds them) are socialism, fascism or communism, I do not know. But what I do know is that Rick Perry's toll roads are an economic rape of Texas tax payers, drivers, consumers and citizens. For that one reason alone, Rick Perry needs to be removed from the governor's mansion. Basically toll roads and the Trans Texas Corridor are a plot whereby the state steals land from its citizens and gives a special monopoly to investor insiders who can tax and toll the trapped victim drivers for 50 years or 75 years or the end of eternity. These toll agreements were written so that there would be no road building competition from the state or local governments, which will of course raise toll rates. In the old days if a highway ran through your farmland, you got to keep the land near the road and hope you could make some money off your land near the interchange exits/entrances. Under the toll agreements, that land is also taken by eminent domain for pennies and sold and leased by the toll operators for dollars. 500,000 acres to be taken by eminent domain, hundreds of thousands of Texans moved, at least 200 billion to build these monstrosities and the hundreds of billions or trillions of dollars in tolls to be sucked out of the trapped victims. If Rick Perry thought that Texas needed infrastructure improvements, a MUCH better way would be for him to take his plans the people, build public support and raise the gasoline tax with the legislature or the people voting on it in an over the board fashion. Instead Rick Perry chose to use and out of control, unaccountable Texas Department of Transportation to ram these toll roads down the throats of millions of unwilling Texans. That gives us a key insight into the mindset of Rick Perry and why he needs to be sent packing.
Rick Perry promoted the Business Margins Tax --- which is really a backdoor state income tax
Rick Perry is the guy who showed up at the Texas Tea Party, yelling and hollering about taxing, spending and the federal government. I was at the rally he was speaking at in Austin. It was a warm day and most folks were wearing shorts with a knit shirt or a t-shirt or even business suits for those who were in their lunch break in downtown Austin. Rick Perry shows up wearing HUNTING CLOTHES, including a jacket and a dirty hunting cap. All Rick needed to do was douse himself in some goose blood and whip out a couple of pistols and start firing bullets in the air, like Yosemite Sam. Rick Perry as Yosemite Sam:
This is what I mean when I say that Rick Perry is the biggest FRAUD and PHONY in American politics. The same Rick Perry is the one who tries to shove toll roads and the Trans Texas Corridor (2003) down the throats of millions of Texans --- a gargantuan TAXING, TOLLING, and SPENDING orgy, totaling hundreds of billions, perhaps trillions in toll taxes over time. But Texas is a very unique place, and we're a pretty independent lot to boot.'' [Rick Perry 4-15-09] So Rick Perry has tea time with the Bilderbergers when no one is looking in 2007, then he comes to a Texas Tea party in 2009, all the while ranting like a Texas version of Yosemite Sam. Perry talks about Texas sovereignty, yet he supports the United Nations, NAFTA, CAFTA and the Trans Texas Corridor. Rick Perry has been Governor of Texas for NINE years and he read about the 10th Amendment a few weeks ago. Here is how to tell a real economic conservative from a FRAUD and a PHONY. A real economic conservative will tell you at least 5-10 federal departments and maybe 50 federal programs that should be ELIMINATED. A Big Government Republican, like Rick Perry, will tell you its ok, just so long as Republicans, especially HIM, run those departments. Just one example, Rick Perry is FOR the Dept. of Education and the No Child Left Behind Act. This act, which teachers hate, is where the federal government tries to run your local school to keep it "accountable." Meanwhile no one keeps the federal government "accountable." HPV vaccine mandate and Rick Perry's attack on Parental Rights Another flagrant foul by this fraud and phony
Rick Perry wants to stick a needle in the arm of every 6th grade girl in that state of Texas and inject her with a possibly dangerous, possible ineffective HPV vaccine AND he wants to MAKE the parents pay for these expensive shots which run about $360. And for those folks who can't afford this shot of insanity, Rick Perry wants you the taxpayer to pay for these expensive, dangerous and ineffective shots for them! This is the same Rick Perry who crows about how parents should be allowed to educate and raise their own kids without government interference. The HPV vaccine mandate alone is reason enough of to kick Rick Perry out of office. Merck is the maker of Gardasil, which is the so-called HPV vaccine. Even worse, Perry tried to bypass the legislature by issuing an executive order for the vaccination. The Texas legislature overwhelmingly overturned that arrogant idiocy, but the legislature really should have impeached King Perry for that stunt.
Rick Perry and Religious Oppression: The 2008 FLDS raid in El Dorado, TX based on a crank phone call Traumatizes 438 children and their parents Gives Left Wing a precedent to persecute Christian families Rick Perry is a religious bigot and he proved it in 2008 when he supported an out of control Child Protective Services when they raided the FLDS community in El Dorado based on a crank phone call from a disturbed woman in Colorado . If you are a conservative Christian, perhaps a home schooler, you should be extremely concerned about the religious oppression of the FLDS and Rick Perry's gung ho support for that. Out of all the things Rick Perry has done or supporting, the attack on the FLDS families --- with all the tears, trauma and family destruction that caused --- this has to be one of the most disturbing if not THE MOST disturbing. Imagine a fascist, totalitarian government coming into your household and ripping away YOUR kids based on a crank phone call. That is exactly what happened to those FLDS families in 2008 and Religious Oppressor Rick Perry supported that move LONG AFTER it was revealed that a crank phone call complaint was the basis for the move. And even if the complaint had been legitimate, what kind of a fascist, totalitarian government would come in there and remove FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY EIGHT children from hundreds of families? As of now, 438 of the 439 children who were taken are back with their parents, which just shows how weak the CPS case was and proves that the real motive for this raid was governmental religious oppression. The FLDS had been watched and targeted by the government who was just looking for an excuse to move in and destroy their lives. If you are a home schooler or a conservative Christian or you just believe in freedom and "live and let live" you should be extremely concerned at the state sponsored gross miscarriage of justice that happened to these FLDS families. Perhaps you live in a Christian household where the man is the "head of the family" or you teach that homosexuality is wrong. Smith, a fabulous candidate and true blue conservative, spent $9,500 while defeating the "moderate" Hernandez who spent a whopping $558,000. Rick Perry was so incensed by this, it was such a blow to his ego that his handpicked "moderate" had been defeated by a superior candidate and conservative, that Rick Perry set out to defeat conservative grassroots hero Steven Wayne Smith in the 2004 primary. In 2004 incumbent conservative judge Steven Wayne Smith was supported by Eagle Forum, Kent Hance, Ron Paul, anti-affirmative action activist Ward Connerly, and thousands of grassroots Texas conservatives. Also note that Kay Bailey Hutchison, NOT Rick Perry, supported Smith in the 2004 primary as well. On the other side was that ego-driven fraud and phony Rick Perry who had gotten Paul Green to run against Steven Wayne Smith. Rick Perry sent out a lot of robo-calls against Smith, asking folks to vote for his candidate Paul Green. As a result Paul Green won the GOP nomination for the Texas Supreme Court, Place #5 with 294,935 votes to 259,877 (53% to 47%) for Steven Wayne Smith, a fabulous judge, a rare gem in the Robert Bork mold. So Rick Perry defeated one of the most conservative and most qualified and most Constitutionalist judges in Texas history! Also, thanks to Perry's robo phone calls telling folks to vote for "Green," we nominated a liberal RINO, a very weak candidate, named Bill Green for the 3rd Court of Appeals, Place #4 in 2004! The true conservative was a Hispanic Ernest Garcia and he was defeated by Bill Green (same last name as Paul Green) thanks to Rick Perry's phone calls in the Supreme Court race. That spot is now held by Jan Patterson, who could have been defeated in 2004 if our best candidate Ernest Garcia had not been nuked from the fallout of Rick Perry's ego. Is it not about time that we held Rick Perry accountable for what he did to Steven Wayne Smith in 2004? Accountable as in kicking him out of the governor's mansion!
Rick Perry Vetoes Eminent Domain Bill --- (2007) Taking your land more important than Protecting your property rights
No surprise here. We know what is important to Rick Perry and it is not you keeping your property and your tax dollars. In response to the very misguided Kelo decision by the US Supreme Court, the Texas Legislature --- along with MANY states --- passed a bill protecting property rights. In Texas the bill was HB 2006 and it passed the Texas House by a margin of 125-25 and it passed by a whopping 31-0 in the Texas Senate. What is more important: what a politician SAYS or what a politician DOES? If I thought that Rick Perry believed half of what he says I would support him. But, alas, he does not. Rick Perry knows that he is not a very popular guy in Texas; that is why he was so desperate last year to hop on the Vice-Presidential wagon first with Rudy Guiliani and then with John McCain, 2 politicians who are definitely not popular with grassroots Texas conservatives. Perry's desperation is also why we seeing him running around in his HUNTING CLOTHES at Tea Party rallies ranting about how much he supposedly hates taxes, spending and the federal government. Perry has been governor of Texas for NINE years and he just read the 10th Amendment a few weeks ago, after supporting things like No Child Left Behind and the CHIP program ... not to mention his gargantuan toll road scam and the new business margins tax that he signed in 2006. I forgot, Perry is even talking about SECESSION from the USA right now!! Just remember when you hear Rick Perry talk about secession, the 10th Amendment, states's rights and small government, you are hearing the hollow and cynical words of the biggest FRAUD and PHONY in American politics.
